NaNoWriMo 2014 starts tomorrow!
Are you as excited as me?
From tomorrow, November 1st, we can all sit down to drink buckets of coffee and eat tons of chocolate, with the excuse to be fuelling for the writing challenge that is National Novel Writing Month!
I did all I could do last minute, stocked up on food and drinks, piled up all the research and idea scribbles I will need:
I prepared my working environment best I could, even treated myself to a new comfy office chair (well, it could also be a lounge chair, but I’m shifting and moving too much during work to sit straight anyway) today!
I got my warmest cardigan at hand, the huge stuffed Schluffen (German for very misshapen, but comfortably warm and thick fluffy-shoes), even a bandage should I need it to support my wrist in a writing frenzy…
I have the location overview for my story right under my nose:
And after arranging to kick off with my beloved writing buddy Elaine I feel decently prepared for this year’s writing challenge (more about the motivation that NaNoWriMo is here).
All we have to do now is wait for the official kickoff at the headquarters and off we go!
